Linking pages

Great, so you have created some web pages using the code in the previous section but now you need to link them together to make them useful. When you are browsing the WWW you don't continually type in the pages you want to visit, that is a wate of time. Much better to have hyperlinks in the document.

Hyper Links

	<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang= "en">
	<meta charset="UTF-8" />
	<head>
		<title>Page Two</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<h1>This  is  Page 2</h1>
		<p>Document  content  goes  here.....</p>
		<a href = "page2.html">Page 1</a>
	</body>
</html>

Save as "page1.html" in a folder

	<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang= "en">
	<meta charset="UTF-8" />
	<head>
		<title>Page Two</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<h1>This  is  Page 2</h1>
		<p>Document  content  goes  here.....</p>
		<a href = "page1.html">Page 1</a>
	</body>
</html>

Save as "page2.html" in a folder

Test your web pages in a browser. They should link to each other.
